The science fiction television series tells the story of five people who happens to have superhuman abilities. • Laura Mennell stars as Nina Theroux who has the ability to command people to do whatever she wishes. Just by having eye contact, she can command another person to do what she asks.

• Ryan Cartwright stars as Gary Bell who is autistic living with his mother. With his social disconnection, his super power comes in handy. He can communicate with anyone without contact. He uses wireless communication signals to deliver his message.

• Azita Ghanizada stars as Rachel Pirzad who has the ability to optimize all her five senses, this means her sense of smell, touch, hearing, taste and sight.

Syfy’s ‘Alphas’ get new team from ‘Eureka’

It is great to know that Eureka‘s co-exec producer Matt Hastings has teamed up with Syfy’s Alphas. He is perfect for the job because of his strange proclivity for success.

In fact, even though Eureka will no longer be able to play after five seasons because Amy Berg, the show producer, said that there were financial difficulties, it is never time to look backwards. It is time to look forwards because that is where the future lies. Hastings will do the same thing as David Strathairn in the second season. What more could he ask for? And, as a new exec of Alphas, he will be working besides Bruce Miller, who is the fantastic showrunner since about four years ago.
